    Job Overview:

    CR Fence & Rail is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of projects from inception to completion. You will manage project schedules, coordinate with sales staff, schedule crews and deliveries, and oversee material procurement and inventory control.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage Project Flow and Scheduling:
      1. Coordinate the entire fencing project lifecycle, from initial client contact (estimates, quotes) through project completion and final sign-off.
      2. Partner with the inventory management team to ensure accurate inventory control systems, including stock levels, usage tracking, and reorder points, to optimize inventory management and minimize costs.
      3. Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure smooth project handoff and address any material or specification changes during the process.
      4. Monitor project timelines and proactively identify potential roadblocks or delays, implementing solutions to keep projects on schedule.
    2. Ensure Material Procurement and Inventory Control:
      1. Maintain sufficient stock of fencing materials (poles, rolls, gates, etc.) to meet project needs.
      2. Liaise with the inventory team to place timely orders and track deliveries.
      3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are stored safely and securely.
    3. Facilitate Customer Communication and Satisfaction:
      1. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and installation teams.
      2. Coordinate with the installers once confirmation is received that the site is ready for the job. This will include but is not limited to site prep coordination, city/county permitting, clearance from utility companies for digging when applicable, etc.
      3. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
      4. Coordinate thorough post-installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction with the completed fence.

    Requirements:

    Role Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in REMOTE project coordination, operations management, or related field.

    Role Preferential:

    • Previous experience in operations relating to construction or fencing industry is preferred.
    • Knowledgeable/used: CompanyCam

    • Knowledgeable/used: , or , ArcSite

    Role Exclusion:

    • Sales (will be handled by sales person) << you will provide all the needed information and answer any questions to close on sale
    • Customer service (will be handled by CS) << you will need to take their feedback and address/coordinate with an installer to resolve issues

    Education:

    • Bachelor's or equivalent

    Experience:

    • 6-10 years of relevant experience

    Management:

    • 1-3 years experience (Preferred)

    • This level of hardware is sufficient for basic tasks such as web browsing, email, and word processing.
    • The hardware requirements for this level are relatively low, and a basic computer or laptop will be sufficient.

    Recruitment Process

    1. The recruitment process is all initially at your pace. We only do in-person interviews in the final step. We will initially ask yes/no & numeric questions to verify your relevant experience.
    2. We will ask you to list out your key responsibilities from your previous companies.
    3. We will then ask you to demonstrate past responsibilities to support your list of key responsibilities and success metrics.
    4. Then we will select a few applicants to do a paid trial task (we will provide actual problems/issues we face that you will try to resolve).
    5. Lastly, we will do a final in-person interview (at this point, you would most likely have passed most of the job competency and experience assessment and this is a job/culture fit + opportunity for you to ask/understand us better).
