    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Understands the company's business and identify tax risks and areas for improvement;
    Analyze, evaluate and quantify internal exposure, if any.

    Analyze and evaluate where the company may improve its accounting system specifically on tax related accounts, tax practices, procedures, among others.

    Identify tax compliance gaps and provide suggestions on how to address the gap.
    Contribute initiatives for tax savings
    Leads the Business Unit's monthly tax activities
    Manage tax tasks such as filing of tax returns, execution of tax payments, computation of tax payable/receivable positions, reconciling tax books versus local books

    Monitors compliance to statutory reporting deadlines - large taxpayers and non-large taxpayers
    Ensure compliance with corporate tax reporting and local statutory requirements.
    Keep abreast of regulation changes and development relating to tax matters.
    BIR examination and assessments
    Handle BIR examination from beginning to end
    Review all requirements needed in the BIR examination
    Prepare/review schedules for submission to BIR.
    Review reconciliations to be submitted
    Handle adhoc tax projects as needed.
    Requirements
    Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
    Certified Public Accountant
    Preferably with at least 3 years continuous experience in internal tax audit/tax compliance group and/or tax advocacy group in any of the top auditing firms
    With at least 3 years experience in national tax and/or regulatory audit/compliance and/or advisory
    Proficient in the conduct of internal tax audit with excellent internal tax audit report writing skills
    Extensive experience in handling BIR examination and assessments.
    Proficient in providing tax advisory with excellent tax opinion/advisory writing skills
    Directly work with business units when carrying out responsibilities

    *Willing to be assigned in Head Office, Libis Quezon City
