    Our client is a US-funded company specializing in Mobile Payment Platform. They aim to bring an easy-to-use, low-cost, secure mobile payment, and digital wallet service to all, to empower business owners to accept electronic payment easily, safely, and conveniently.

    They are seeking an experienced, self-motivated JAVA Back End Developer to work full-time, on-site at Ortigas, Pasig City.

    You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust backend system for their financial technology application.

    Duties:

    • Develop and maintain backend systems for financial applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
    • Develop and maintain REST APIs, Schedulers, and other functions such as SQS and Lambda
    • ​​Analyze and assess the business needs of the client to find the best solution for the client
    • ​​​Maintain and create micro-services for core application, in-depth experience with container applications and end to end programming from requirements gathering to development and up to deployment using automation tools.​​
    • Work closely with other BUs such as Finance, Business Development, Customer Care Groups and other stakeholders to understand business requirements
    • Sole responsible for any defects experienced by users
    • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
    • Develop integrations with third-party financial APIs and services.
    • Implement and maintain connections with payment gateways, financial institutions, and other relevant partners.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of experience in Backend Development (Java) focus on fintech applications or related domain
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
    • Knowledgeable in Financial Systems Development, Backend Development, Documentation and Compliance Reporting
    • Strong understanding of financial systems, including payments, transactions, and compliance
    • Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
    • Proficient in using Gradle, AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Spring Boot, Git, MySQL, Maven, Hibernate
    • Familiarity with financial APIs, payment gateways, and third-party integrations
    • Overall strong analytical and problem-solving skills are highly important for this role
