Accountabilities:

Responsible for the verification and posting of journal entries; inter-company confirmation; and proper and timely accounting of general ledger transactions. Ensure that sub-ledger transactions are loaded to the General Ledger timely and accurately
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Ensure timely reporting of financial information. Reconcile assigned accounts and verify propriety of postings and classifications
Ensure accurate tax computation and timely submission of tax schedules/returns
Support budget, operating plan, and re-forecasting activities
Work with the Accounting Manager with regards to the handling of non-routine accounting transactions
Work with the relevant team to ensure timely completion of year end audit
Ensure that work instructions/procedures are updated
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

CPA with a good working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
Minimum three years of experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Experience working in MNC is preferred.
Experience with ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft); PC proficient – strong experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills a plus), Word, PowerPoint; experience with MS Access and Project a plus
Logical thinker who constantly thinks of process improvements
Good documentation skills
Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Good interpersonal skills; and ability to work with a diverse group of people
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in other Asian languages a plus
Must be independent yet a strong team player
