- Run the operation end‑to‑end: Oversee daily service delivery, coordinate across clinical and support teams, and ensure seamless workflows and communications.
- Drive growth & revenue: Formulate financial targets, launch revenue‑generating programs, and develop new/enhanced services in partnership with business development, marketing, and finance.
- Own the performance drumbeat: Monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance vs. budget (volumes, procedures, revenue, referrals); analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize cost & capacity: Ensure efficient use of manpower, supplies, equipment, and space; lead process‑improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Champion patient‑centered experience: Implement systems that improve access, turnaround, and service recovery; mine feedback and surveys to close gaps.
- Advance service development: Coordinate feasibility/viability assessments with finance and planning; prepare business cases and execute approved projects on time and within budget.
- Uphold quality & compliance: Enforce quality and safety standards, track KPIs, and align with internal/external regulatory requirements; ensure facilities and equipment readiness with partner units.
- Lead the team: Set goals, coach, and conduct performance reviews; drive continuous learning, collaboration, and a culture of accountability and empathy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a health‑related, business, or management field; postgraduate studies in Business/Hospital Administration or related discipline preferred.
- Experience: ~3+ years in a leadership/department‑head capacity (hospital or related setting) and ~5+ years combined clinical/operations leadership managing a unit or department.
- Strengths: Financial and operational acumen (budgeting, variance analysis, KPI tracking), process improvement mindset, stakeholder management, and crisp written/verbal communication.
- Style: Results‑driven, collaborative, patient‑focused; comfortable coordinating across clinical and non‑clinical teams to deliver both service and P&L outcomes.
