- Assist the Planning Manager in all preconstruction activities, including surveying, cost estimation, site assessments, and related preconstruction requirements, ensuring proper coordination and alignment with the Planning & Construction Department in a fast-paced work environment.
- Coordinate site visit due diligence, including liaising with contractors, reviewing their site visit reports, and assessing lot readiness for acquisition or construction. Ensure evaluations are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Support surveying activities, coordinating with internal teams to identify lots that require surveys, evaluating survey needs, managing survey contractors, and reviewing survey reports for completeness. Assist other teams with survey-related requirements as needed.
- Prepare cost estimates and technical documentation, including preliminary budgets for construction, renovation, or acquisition projects, and ensure that all reports and submissions are accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams, addressing technical issues during preconstruction activities, and ensuring smooth workflow and timely updates.
- Support other teams within P&C or other departments as needed, providing technical input, drawings, or clarifications to assist with their requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or Geodetic Engineering, or Architecture
- Professional license preferred but not required
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as an engineer or architect
- Experience in new construction and renovation projects
- Background in preconstruction activities, including site evaluation, and surveying coordination
- Experience in quantity surveying, including quantity take-offs and cost estimation
- Knowledgeable in quantity surveying and preliminary budgeting
- Familiar with AutoCAD, particularly for lot plotting and basic technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Strong understanding of preconstruction documentation and reporting
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering accurate outputs
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, cooperative, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
