- Senior Leadership Role
- Multinational organization pioneering clean energy in the Philippines
- Build a strong relationship with the Executive Management team and Board members of the plants.
- Responsible for driving the operational performance of the plants and Fuel Supply Division, and provide strategic advice to the Executive Management team and Board.
- Provide leadership and direction for the operations of the 3 plants.
- Driving cost and operational deficiencies of the operations.
- Identifying, formulating, presenting, and implementing initiatives to improve the performance of the 3 plants, and introducing techniques to improve output, reliability or efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the 3 plants to ensure that the operations are in compliance with all regulatory and company environmental, health and safety requirements and labour laws.
- Ensuring that the 3 plants have a positive impact within the communities in which they operate.
- Develop and implement operational, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budgets and long-term business plans for the plants to optimise the operational and financial performance of the business.
- Prepare regular reports on the plants operational performance and expenditures with analysis of variances to plan and recommended actions to address any deltas.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in leading the management, operation, and maintenance of thermal power plants, with experience of renewable power plants.
- Proven track record in actively managing multi asset operational businesses to drive operational and financial performance.
- Strong technical engineering expertise and track record.
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, managing contracts and risk assessment.
- Strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Track record of a 'hands on' approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and focus on results.
- Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders, including regulators, local stakeholders, and boards, with experience working in South-East Asia.
- Proven ability to provide insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Track record of implementing best in class operating practices that support a safe and efficient working environmental in compliance with all regulations.
- Experience in leading large and diverse teams with strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- This position offers a chance to manage the biggest renewable plant operations in the Philippines.
