    Summary:

    The role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of one of Vena Energy Philippines' recently initiated Wind projects while ensuring the project is on time, on budget, and within scope while strictly adhering to and implementing Vena Energy's standards of leadership in promotion of Health, Safety, Security & Environment procedures and best practice.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Initiating - participate in the tendering / contracting process of the project and the designation of OE
    • Planning - secure Vena's interests are satisfied in the planning of activities for TSA and BOP works
    • Executing - secure that projects are implementing as per Vena's requirements, facilitate issue resolution, lead the project team incl. OE through project changes
    • Monitoring and Controlling – monitoring the progress of the project, managing the project's budget, ensuring that key milestones are reached, compare actual performance against planned/scheduled performance
    • Closing - work with Contractors to secure and document that the project delivery is complete, review the work of third-party vendors or partners to close their contracts, archive project files for future reference and use.

    Pre-requisites:

    • Educational Background: Solid engineering foundation, with academic and practical training relevant to renewable energy infrastructure projects.
    • Professional Experience: Over 10 years of hands-on project management experience in the construction of onshore wind farms, with a strong track record of completing large-scale renewable energy projects on time and within budget.
    • Industry Expertise: Extensive background in wind power plant development, including detailed knowledge of wind energy systems, turbine technologies, grid connection processes, and operational best practices.
    • Authority Certification: Holds signature authority for engineering certifications and construction approvals in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
    • Technical Competencies: Skilled in concrete handling, testing, and quality control; experienced in the design and construction of wind turbine foundations, internal roads, and other site civil works.
    • Geotechnical Knowledge: Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles with applied experience in assessing soil conditions and designing foundation systems suitable for wind turbine installations.
    • Mobility Requirement: Fully willing and prepared to relocate to the Philippines, including assignment to project sites such as those in Rizal Province & Quezon Province.
