    Job Description

    Job Title: Head of E-Commerce

    Location: Taguig City, Philippines

    About the Role:

    We are currently seeking a highly experienced Head of E-Commerce for a multinational FMCG client based in BGC. Reporting to the MU E-Com Director / PH Country Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing the E-Commerce business for the Country / Management Unit (MU). The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting the business strategy for the E-Commerce channel and managing its P&L. They will provide expertise in Key Account Management, Shopper and Customer Marketing, and Business Insights within the E-Commerce domain.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute short-term and long-term business plans to manage the P&L for the E-Commerce Channel.
    • Collaborate with agencies/enablers to ensure sustainable growth of the E-Commerce channel while maintaining operational excellence.
    • Stay abreast of evolving E-Commerce market trends and guide the team to achieve superior business results.
    • Foster strategic business partnerships with E-Commerce chains to meet business priorities effectively.
    • Oversee all activities related to content, assortment, sales, distribution, and customer service for the E-Commerce business.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to E-Commerce teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Offer thought leadership to the MU Management Team on Omni-Channel commerce to build a future-proof organization.
    • Drive the 5Ps of E-Commerce for MU: Product, Price, Promotion, POSM, and Placement.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance Sales through unique visitors, conversion rate, per customer transaction, and retention rate.
    • Strategize key event actions including timing, offer, message, media, and growth.
    • Implement systems, reporting tools, and analytics tools to facilitate business growth.
    • Collaborate with global, regional, and Market Unit E-Commerce teams for best practice sharing and adoption.
    • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities in E-Commerce / Digital / Omni-Channel Commerce for MU.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in E-Commerce business.
    • Proven track record of successfully growing E-Commerce business for an FMCG Company or Category management with top e-commerce players.
    • Strong understanding of customer and market behavior.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive results through cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
