- Architecture Design: Develop and maintain a robust architecture capable of scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security. This involves selecting suitable open-source technology stacks and supporting cloud services.
- Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and formulate a comprehensive Digital strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
- Infrastructure Deployment: Support the implementation of cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, load balancers, databases, and related services.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and uphold security best practices, data protection measures, and compliance standards to safeguard sensitive information and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine-tune the architecture to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness for end-users and applications.
- Technical Architecture and Delivery Support: Lead the implementation of Solution Architecture, providing examples, best practices, and recommendations to Dev, Test, and Change management teams. Collaborate with Implementation teams to successfully deliver flagship projects
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related courses
- Must have at least 8 years as a solution architect, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the banking, financial or telecommunication services industry
- Proficient in constructing solutions within a Spring Boot microservice-based architecture. Experienced in implementing API architectural patterns
- Proficient in designing and configuring out-of-the-box Digital Experience platforms like Backbase, utilizing open-source technology stacks. Alternatively, deep expertise in developing solutions for Native Mobile apps and React Web apps
- In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices, encompassing identity and access management (IAM), encryption techniques, and data protection methods
- Experience in utilizing tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Understanding of regulatory requirements like GDPR and proficiency in implementing compliance controls within cloud environments
- Experience working on at least one major cloud service provider like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or others
- Experience with multiple architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
- Understanding of key technologies and trends in the industry, including digital, cloud, and security
- Proficiency or experience in Domain Driven Design principles and practices, enhancing a deeper understanding of domain complexities and aligning them with software development
