    Insight Analyst (Intermediate), be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing

    The Insights Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the designing, developing and undertaking of data driven analyses to meet the needs of Loyalty New Zealand and our clients. The Insights Analyst will be expected to collaborate with their delivery squad and end users to build, implement, and present analytical & campaign projects for clients.

    An Insight Analyst (Intermediate) is expected to:
    • Demonstrate a structured and pragmatic approach to analysis, interpretation and project delivery with a focus on value delivered
    • Work collaboratively within the delivery team (squad), take responsibility for your agreed deliverables and tasks
    • Derive insights about customer attitudes and behaviors in collaboration with other areas of the business. Translate these outputs into discussion areas for the client to integrate back into their business
    • Create and derive reports that can be run regularly for clients and lead the interpretation of trends
    • Collaborate with the Delivery Lead, senior team members, other parts of the business and Clients to understand their needs
    • Derive new solutions for Loyalty NZ and clients based on business needs
    • Develop creative and pragmatic approaches to new or complex issues
    • Works with the wider Data and Technology team to productionise outputs and integrate them into standard data tools
    • Be aware of latest advances in data, analytics and insights and work to incorporate into Loyalty NZ processes and products
    • Actively share your learnings and seek out other learnings
    • Use senior practitioners as a sounding board when undertaking complex analysis
    • Add practice responsibilities e.g. documentation in team knowledge management systems
    • Support and drive best practices through the chapter
    • Ensures work is produced to a high standard of quality accuracy
    • Ensures controls and checks are built into any analysis project processes
    • Documents work to ensure methodologies can be adopted by others
    • Reviews own work to ensure accuracy and ensures work is peer reviewed
    • Peer reviews work of others and provide constructive feedback
    What it takes to be part of our team:

    • 4+ years analytics/insights experience, ideally in a marketing (or related
    business) environment

    • Pragmatic and consistent - deliver solutions that make sense to clients
    that are of a consistently high standard

    • Proven ability to translate complex and technical information into
    information easily understood by non-technical staff and clients.

    • Experience programming in SQL and Python

    • Proven experience in developing analyses to answer business issues.

    • Track record of building and implementing analytic solutions, ideally in a
    marketing environment

    • Experience working and sharing knowledge with other analysts

    • Experience coding in base SAS (only if the Insights Analyst is working
    with IAG)

    Preference in skills:

    • Experience working in an AWS environment

    • High standard of written and oral presentation skills

    • Exposure to coding in base SAS
