Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects related to staffing, including rostering, recruitment, HR issues, compliance with staff documentation, conducting staff satisfaction surveys, and handling incoming calls. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be the go-to person for staff-related queries and will work closely with management to uphold the companyu0027s values and standards.

A HR Generalist is expected to do:

Rostering: Efficiently manage and maintain staff rosters, ensuring optimal staffing levels across all departments while considering employee preferences and operational requirements.
Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and participating in the selection process.
HR & Staff-Related Issues: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries. Address and resolve staff concerns in a timely and professional manner. Implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards.
Documentation Compliance: Ensure all staff documentation is up to date and in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. This includes contracts, employee handbooks, performance evaluations, and other HR documents.
Staff Satisfaction Survey: Design, distribute, and analyse staff satisfaction surveys. Provide actionable insights to management to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
Receiving Calls: Handle incoming calls with professionalism, directing queries to the appropriate department or individual, and providing information as required.

What does it take to be part of the team:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in an administrative or HR assistant role, with a focus on staffing and employee relations.
Strong understanding of HR practices and Labor legislation.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality and ethics.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
