    General:

    • Outstanding reading comprehension

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing the entire client GL, resolving discrepancies
    • Assist in the preparation and verification of financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate.
    • Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
    • Financial reporting
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Analysis
    • Reconciliations
    • Providing accounting services to all areas of the client business as necessary.

    Bookkeeping:
    Prepare or review client bookkeeping. Record transactions, reconcile accounts, run reports.

    Document management:
    Request, receive and organize client documentation. Read and understand a wide variety of documents and know where to file them.


    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related course
    • Must have excellent English communication skills.
    • Must have experience in software like Xero and Xero Practice Manager (Class is preferred but not essential)
    • Good understanding of Australian tax legislation
    • At least 2 years of relevant Australian work experience is required for this position.
    • Experience in a BPO setting or handling multiple clients is an advantage
    • Must be willing to work on an AUS shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL).
