    US Tax Manager

    We are looking for an experienced US Tax Manager to work for our US client. Experience in US Tax is strictly required. CPA license and working experience in public accounting firms are ideal.

    Strong communication skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and engage regularly with management, finance peers, and various business functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with clients to provide innovative tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities.
    • Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements in corporate, individual and partnership taxation.
    • Provide proper representation with taxing authorities for clients under federal or state examination. Possess strong writing skills for responding to problem resolutions for tax notices.
    • Work closely with Partners, Senior Managers and staff on client management, professional development and business development activities.
    • Manage team's activities and budgets.
    • Develop team's technical and industry skills and mentor career growth.
    • Be involved in practice development efforts of the firm.
    • Assist partners with preparation of engagement budgets, client billing and staff performance reviews.
    • Review staff work product and ensure firm processes and quality control procedures are being executed.
    • Pursue professional development through public speaking opportunities, seminar delivery, and through the writing of articles.
    • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations.

    Qualifications:

    • BS Accountancy graduate. CPA License is highly preferred.
    • With 3-5 years of solid US Tax preparation experience is required.
    • Two or more years of experience at a public accounting firm is highly essential, with a substantial dedication of time to providing corporate and individual tax compliance and consulting services.
    • Experience leading a team is a must.
    • Applicants with no leadership experience are also welcome and can qualify as US Tax Accountants.
    • Must possess strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
    • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.
    • Must be willing to work on a US Shift (9 PM - 5 AM MNL), Monday to Friday.
    • Temporary work from home. Should be willing to work onsite as needed.
