- A Bachelor's/College Degree in a technology related discipline like IT or Engineering is required
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of SDLC processes
- Knowledge of agile software development practices
- Proficiency in Unix (Linux/AIX), Oracle, and SQL
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts using Python
- Experience with QA testing tools
- Track record in managing system/software development projects in a structured environment
- Background in the Financial industry
- Leadership experience in small teams or projects
- Ensure visibility and traceability in the testing process to deliver top-quality products
- Collaborate with Product Owner and Test Lead to define testing scope within sprints and releases
- Focus on risk-based testing and understand product vision for customer-oriented tests
- Ensure user stories have valid and testable acceptance criteria
- Promote active communication among QA, Developer, and Product Owner for effective testing
- Facilitate testing discussions across feature boundaries
- Advocate for QA practices within the scrum team and encourage Continuous Improvement
- Implement best practices to prevent and discover bugs/defects
- Collaborate with QA Lead and Test Manager on best practice ideas
- Build and maintain relationships across product development functions
- Test against valid data and collaborate with data team for accurate member data
- Raise department risks and issues with Test Manager and Test Lead
- Utilize automated testing for regression testing coverage
- Enforce Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) for user stories and defects
- Participate in product demos to understand customer needs
- Create and maintain a Regression test suite to address gaps in the testing process
