- Ensures accounting records on assigned properties are properly documented on a daily basis
- Maintaining records of received/due tenantsâ rents and occasionally conducting account reconciliation to verify tenant statements.
- Conduct research and audits to confirm enquiries regarding tenant statements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly close for buildings and properties. They also review accounts payable vouchers for maintenance/repair costs.
- Complete general ledger entries, manage and track all income statements and expenses (cash balances). Usually, they prepare and deliver to accounts payable unitsâ invoices for security deposit refunds.
- Reviewing account records such as credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings and cash receipts to ensure accurate accounts.
- Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost.
- Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
- Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary.
- Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time.
- Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings.
- Assist the Property management team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledgeable on financial data analysis
- Knows how to prepare and analyze operations and financial statistics
- Ability to reconcile accounts on reported data and with basic understanding of the financial statements and analysis
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- With background in finance, ecommerce and bookkeeping and BSP related reports
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
- Working days: Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
