- Manages the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manages and ensures compliance to local law and regulations, including tax and corporate governance.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Provides sound business advice on projects evaluation and capital expenditure justification.
- Oversees information technology and purchasing functions.
- Manage business and operations risk effectively and addresses to Owners and/ or Corporate office on any major risk concern.
- Engages in various ad hoc functions as assigned by General Manager or Corporate office.
- At least 5 years work experience as Director of Finance in hotel industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is preferred but not required)
- Mature and pleasant personality, persistent and committed with ability to strive for the best.
- Strategic and agile, able to convey key points and recommendations effectively and efficiently.
- Thorough understanding of hotel operations and sound business acumen.
- Knowledge of the Philippines Tax System.
- Demonstrated ability to scope a project and develop a plan of action, ability to influence others, present convincing arguments and deal with conflicting viewpoints.
- Experience in closely working with stakeholders including owning company and corporate office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization and ability to gain consensus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and procession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills.
- Strong leadership skill and advocates team collaboration.
- Highly analytical and possess strong sense in use of systems and technology.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.

About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Finance forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel. The Director is responsible for safeguarding the hotel assets and financial resources contributing towards maximizing hotel profitability. Provides timely and accurate financial information and counsel to hotel senior management (and ownership) and ensures that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures and under the terms of the management agreement and any other applicable agreements. The Director is also responsible for the development of Finance team members to aid the future growth of the company.
