Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and pursuing high-value business opportunities and securing strategic partnerships that drive sustainable revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and pain points, along with the ability to design and execute effective sales strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build, expand, and maintain a strong network of clients, partners, and industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.
- Present, promote, and position the company's products and services to prospective clients to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Deliver exceptional client service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns.
- Develop tailored proposals and solutions based on client requirements and business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, performance against targets, and market trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Background in selling B2B SaaS software products is highly preferred.
