Job summary
Your primary responsibility is to design, implement and oversee training and development programs for Global Maritime Professionals in accordance with international regulations and industry standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that seafarers possess the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies to perform their duties effectively and safely while onboard ships or other maritime vessels.Responsibilities
- Training Program Development (Cornerstone and Capstone): Research and analyze industry trends best practices regulatory requirements related to seafarer training Design comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills competencies of seafarers including technical safety soft skills training Collaborate with subject matter experts maritime authorities external training providers to develop relevant up-to-date training content.
- Training Delivery Facilitation Conduct training sessions for seafarers using various teaching methods such as classroom instruction practical simulations e-learning platforms Facilitate discussions interactive sessions to encourage active learning knowledge retention among seafarers Ensure that all training materials resources are well-prepared accessible to participants.
