    Job Summary
    Our client is looking for a Senior SAP Basis Engineer who can perform SAP Basis Administration activities including installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple SAP instances.
    Mandatory Skill-set
    • 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, preferably with S/4 HANA work experience;
    • Proficiency in SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting;
    • At least 5 years' experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of HANA and Oracle databases running on Linux platform;
    • Experience in high availability, disaster recovery, system refreshes and backup mechanisms;
    • Experience with SAP system upgrades, patches, and installations;
    • Ability to take ownership of work activities and complete in a timely and efficient manner;
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams spread across regions;
    • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to details;
    • Good interpersonal skills, inclusive mindset, and a critical thinker;
    • Willing to work in non-office hours and public holiday (supported under firm's compensation policy.
    Desired Skill-set
    Relevant SAP certification is an advantage
    Responsibilities
    • Perform SAP Basis Administration activities including installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, acceptance, and production);
    • Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability/availability;
    • Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability;
    • Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies;
    • Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades;
    • Apply and migrate SAP maintenance through all systems using a structured methodology;
    • Responsible to ensure platform operation procedure and operation control execution being in line with information security baseline.
