- Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of the P&L and bank statements with the annual model, including conducting variance analysis to compare budget versus actuals.
- Weekly Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the AP/AR point person to reconcile upcoming payments for the next 1-4 weeks and accurately enter them into the financial system.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Update the actual inventory for our clients on a weekly/monthly basis in our inventory forecast sheet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory Re-forecasting: Adjust inventory purchase schedules and COGS outlay following bi-weekly revenue re-forecasts, done in collaboration with the head of finance and clients.
- Financial Model Updates: Update existing financial models with added costs in predefined categories, ensuring continuous accuracy and relevance of financial data.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.
- Ability to work remotely with the flexibility to attend team meetings during the evening PST.
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, with a preference for those who have a background in eCommerce.
- Familiarity with Shopify and Amazon Seller platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis within the eCommerce sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with team members across different functions.
