- Technical Support: Provide technical support to warehouse operations teams, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing solutions promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Integration: Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate warehouse modules with other enterprise systems such as ERP, transportation management systems (TMS), and order management systems (OMS).
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure warehouse management systems to meet specific business requirements, optimizing workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and reliable data management within warehouse modules, including inventory levels, order tracking, and shipping information. Implement data validation processes to maintain data integrity.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff to ensure proper utilization of system functionalities.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency, such as streamlining pick-pack-ship processes and reducing order cycle times.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations, data privacy, and security. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in warehouse management systems. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and drive operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in implementing and supporting warehouse management systems, such as SAP EWM, Manhattan Associates, or similar platforms.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Strong technical proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration.
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java for data manipulation and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
