- Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure working files are updated and correct.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
- Assist/Prepare with Monthly/Quarterly/AnnualGroup reporting packs in accordance with Accounting Standards and Group reporting instructions.
- Coordinate and provide Auditors the necessary supporting documents.
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and investigate differences.
- Assist with monthly/quarterly adhoc requirements pertaining to the preparations of necessary items in the financial statements and closing of books.
- Assist with special investigations/projectsconcerning a wide-range accounting issues as required.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly monitoring return for Syndicates.
- Accuracy and timeliness of closing of Accounting books, journal entries and reconciliations.
- Timeliness in providing feedbacks/resolution.
- Accuracy of journal entries and reports.
- Ensure to meet service level agreements.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 4 years relevant experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Effective analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work on a global team.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of products and concepts relating to the financial services industry, including financial management principles
- Advanced knowledge of Management Accounting principles and practices, and reporting of financial data
- Advanced working knowledge of financial processes, procedures, solutions and best practices
