- Accounts Payable transaction management, including capacity and demand planning based on AP transactions lead time and volume analysis
- Maintain Supplier Relationships (timely payments and responsiveness on inquiries)
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and Operating Companies
- Month-end closing and balance sheet integrity activities
- Internal and external performance reporting
- Drive improvements and consistencies on Performance Metrics to all functions under his/her responsibility
- Guide Team Leads on their professional development plans and provide effective coaching and mentoring programs
- Individual performance and career management (including hiring and terminations)
- Responsible for supervising some Team Leads with numerous of AP analysts
- Continuous improvement leadership, including identification of process and system improvements
- Partnering with the AP manager to support strategic initiatives
- Partnering with related functions, such as Procurement, Vendor Data Management, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger teams
- Special projects as assigned
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field preferred
- Minimum three (3) yearsâ Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing or BPO context including: o Preferable 2+ years supervisory experience in a shared service setting
- Experience managing data in large ERP systems, Oracle preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.)
- Lean training a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency managing data in Microsoft Office (SharePoint)
- High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed, positive and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with suppliers, internal customers and coworkers; fully observe Doverâs Code of Ethical Conduct, Employee Handbook âPersonal Conduct of Employeesâ policies and ISO Quality System Standards
