- Develops the channels strategy and initiative that is in line with the bank's overall channel and customer experience strategy.
- Oversees the general channel management functions and provide strategic direction by recommending initiatives and creating policies that promote channel growth.
- Plans new features, concepts and enhancements to existing services - channel business development.
- Supervises and provides guidance to Channel Development (Delegate Product Owners) and Channel Support & Distribution Officers to ensure that growth and the following are met or surpassed:
- Markets the use of the platforms to our customers
- Channel adoption and growth
- Channel use
- Customer engagement
- Plans new features, concepts and enhancements to existing services
- Ensures accurate and timely execution of project deliverables
- Manages the development, testing and project support fixes and other maintenance requests and ensure the delivery of right and timely solutions to clients
- Conducts project team meetings with technology providers and vendors and provide regular updates to business sponsors
- Monitors and manages channel policies and procedures in support of operations, sales, customer services, audit and technology
- Ensures that there is a continuous risk assessment being conducted to ensure transactional security and compliance to standards
