    Overview:Seasoned Data Migration Lead for seamless transition of data from Salesforce legacy system to Salesforce Service Cloud.

    Ideal candidate should possess a wealth of experience in data migration, data modelling, and ETL processes, with background in Salesforce Platform/Insurance Domain.

    Candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the migration process

    Responsibilities:


    • Lead the discovery / due diligence understanding the key aspects of the current and to be model of data, alongside data mapping at field/transformation levels to devise a data migration strategy
    • Understand the volumetrics and tech stack to confirm the estimates for in-scope data to be migrated – from the list of capabilities and user groups in phased manner
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, SFSC implementation teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and data engineering, to understand data requirements and business objectives.
    • Lead the end-to-end data migration process from Salesforce legacy system to Salesforce Financial Service Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Develop and implement data migration strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy of data.
    • Assess data quality, identify data gaps, and recommend solutions to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
    • Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and cleansing processes to align with Salesforce Service Cloud data model and business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data migration plans, technical specifications, and data mappings.
    • Manage and coordinate data validation, testing, and reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to data migration engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot data migration issues, escalate as necessary, and implement corrective actions to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data migration and Salesforce platforms.
    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in data migration, data modelling, and ETL processes – must have handled at least 2-3 data migration projects
    • Proficient in Python programming language for data manipulation and scripting tasks
    • Thorough understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts
    • Strong command of AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift for data storage, transformation, and analysis
    • Knowledge of Salesforce platforms, particularly Salesforce Service Cloud would be a plus
    • Knowledge of MuleSoft would be a plus
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
