    • Responsible for overseeing all General Accounting activities and functions with direction, administration, and control.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensuring effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial statements' reliability.
    • Maintaining accurate records for assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
    Implementing updated operating procedures for accounting and financial controls. Validating and reviewing cash and accounts payable vouchers.

    • Approving sales invoices, statements of accounts, billing statements, and accounts payable vouchers.
    • Reviewing receipts and disbursements, verifying account distribution, and ensuring accurate support documentation.
    • Preparing, analyzing monthly financial package, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
    • Analyzing submitted schedules like Aging of Accounts receivable, Advances to Officers, Bank reconciliation, short term loans, and payables.
    • Handling audit requirements (internal and external).
    • Managing government reportorial requirements such as Corporate Income Tax returns, VAT returns, and more.
    • Ensuring compliance with financial and contract reporting requirements of regulatory agencies.
    • Reporting accountable forms and journals accurately.
    • Assisting in annual budget and cash flow projections preparation.
    • Resolving accounting and financial issues.
    • Conducting special cost studies as needed.
    Additional tasks assigned by the executive committee.
