Updating client tariffs.Maintaining internal tariffs.
Setting up and maintaining autorating.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from agent network within service standards and develop and follow up on potential business opportunities.
Liaise with service providers to source rates in support of quotes requested – Negotiating skills are required here to obtain the best possible costs.
Maintain a register of service providers and provide notification when rates expire.Follow up of all quotes generated.
Follow up on quotes to record the statistical information on conversion rates.
Provide sales and activity reports to the executive director.
Requirements:
With a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the logistics industry.
Knowledgeable in EDI or incoterms.
Knowledge in quoting and Cargowise experience is a must.
Graduate of BS Customs Administration or other related coursesA licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
Related work experience in a freight/brokerage firmOthers:
