Human Resources Business Partner (for various Plant Manufacturing Set-Up)
Job Summary
Provides HR Services to all Plants of the Group of Companies in the areas of Recruitment, OD, Training, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations, Safety & Security and Plant Admin.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
· Functionally manages the Plant Personnel & Admin Supervisors and regularly visits the Plants to discuss and address plant HR & admin concerns such as relations with the Labor Union, relations with the LGU and surrounding communities, personnel movements and retention Issues, attendance monitoring and DTR preparation, recruitment for plant positions, Security Health and Safety, management of company assets in the custody of PAD, upkeep & housekeeping in the plants and staffhouses, , etc.
· Primarily responsible for the following: (1) Management of Labor Cases involving Plant Employees (2) Provides advice to the Plant Managers and Functional Heads on Employee Discipline and implementation of the Code of Conduct, (3) Handling of employee Grievances,, and Handling of Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation, (4) Handling of CBA Negotiations, compliance with CBA provisions and maintenance of good relations with Labor Union Officers and the Labor Federation, and (5) Development of Employee Relations Programs and Employee Retention Schemes that promote good relations between Management and plant employees and improve Productivity in the Plants.
Qualifications:
· Graduate of bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resource Management or equivalent courses
· At least twenty (20) years of relevant experience in all areas of HR Management in a Plant or Factory set-up.
· Has working experience in dealing with Unions to include CBA Negotiations and Grievance Handling.
· With excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
· Able to relate well with both Plant Management and the Labor Unions.
· Able to represent the company with the LGU's and communities surrounding the Plants.
· Must have good initiative and sense of urgency.
· Must be willing to regularly visit all plants outside NCR and in Cebu.
