- Assisting in developing project budgets and forecasts by closely collaborating with project managers and stakeholders. This involves accurately estimating costs to ensure effective planning.
- Monitoring project expenses, tracking actual costs against budgeted amounts, and promptly identifying any cost overruns or deviations.
- Preparing and submitting regular expense liquidation reports to the accounting and finance department, facilitating fund requests as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, and contractual obligations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Collaborating with various departments, such as project management, procurement, legal, and accounting, to ensure seamless financial coordination and alignment across all project activities.
- Tracking and monitoring supplies to ensure adequate availability and efficient utilization throughout the project duration.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in finance, project finance, or a related role.
- Adept at Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project finance principles and practices is a plus.
