    Social Media & Content Specialist - (Video creation)

    Overview:     We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and content Specialist with specialized skills in video creation to join our team. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and managing engaging video content across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of social media trends, exceptional video editing abilities, and a passion for storytelling.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute video content strategies aligned with overall marketing and brand objectives.
    • Create captivating and innovative video content for different social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to increase engagement and reach.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and conceptualize video ideas that resonate with target audiences.
    • Scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, and editing videos using industry-standard software and equipment.
    • Stay updated on emerging video trends, tools, and best practices for social media platforms.
    • Monitor video performance metrics and use analytics to optimize content for better engagement and reach.
    • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries related to video content.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience (2 years) in creating and editing videos for social media platforms.
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
    • Excellent storytelling and content creation skills with an eye for visual aesthetics.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or a related field.
    • Portfolio showcasing previous video content creation and editing work.
    • Experience in leveraging video SEO and optimizing content for searchability.
