    WHAT YOUâLL DO

    The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at ICHIGO HOUSE Philippines holds a multifaceted role, ensuring the smooth execution of directives set by the CEO while maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness and timeliness. They also offer professional insights to management, manage reports, and stay up-to-date on company priorities. The role involves defining and executing the products/services roadmap, monitoring department activities, and reviewing budgets and reports for approval. COO leads teams, drives long-term goals, and supports staff growth. They must stay informed on industry trends, handle special projects, and ensure budget adherence. Lastly, regular attendance during business hours is a must, and take on other assigned duties as needed.

    DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensures, as follow-up, that directives, special projects and priorities as established by the CEO are completed by departments in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner.
    • Provides professional insight to the Executive Management in overseeing the completion of reports and information
    • Define and execute the product roadmap, focusing on new opportunities and maintaining relevance of ICHIGO HOUSE Philippinesâs existing services
    • Maintains a close working knowledge and understanding of all issues and priorities within ICHIGO HOUSE Philippines, and those departmental issues that may require the attention of the executive management.
    • Directs, analyzes, and understands all expenditures requests in relation to actual budgeted amounts.
    • Closely monitors departmental activities in relation to the operational plan of ICHIGO HOUSE Philippines
    • Reviews operational reports, procurement requests, proposals, budget requests, and appropriateness for approval of the executive management
    • Directs department heads concerning problems, issues, program status or activities and provides reports to the executive management
    • Coordinates the strategic direction and leads assigned teams for developing strategic long term goals related to the assigned area of responsibility.
    • Provides appropriate supervision, mentoring, and professional growth and development opportunities to assigned staff.
    • Keeps abreast of current developments, operational, and technical sources of information.
    • Directs department heads in conducting special projects and monitors/analyzes staffing levels and actual expenditures and trends in relations to ICHIGO HOUSEâs approved budget.
    • Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education Background: University/ College Graduate of in any fields

    Required:

    • Extensive experience in Human Resources and Management
    • Proficient in Sales and Marketing strategies, particularly adept at leveraging social media platforms.
    • Known for a progressive working style that emphasizes innovation and adaptability.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, facilitating clear communication across diverse settings
    • Demonstrates comprehensive skills in project and personnel management, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes.

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with Japanese counterparts or in contexts related to Japan.
    • Proficient in facilitating the deployment of Filipino workers abroad
    • Background in the construction industry

    EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

    • Fulltime
    • The probationary period spans three months, during which the individual's employment status aligns with that of a regular employee. Following a comprehensive employee evaluation, the successful candidate may be considered for promotion to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position.
