- Ensure comprehensive shift coverage to support the Company's global database environment, encompassing a mix of on-site and offsite activities to provide 24/7 support.
- Represent the Global DBA team in major incident calls, taking ownership of problem resolution and related tasks in a timely manner.
- Offer operational support for database issues stemming from incidents or changes.
- Provide solutions and conduct root cause analysis for system performance and failure-related issues.
- Collaborate on projects and maintain close liaison with project teams to facilitate the smooth transition of new databases and initiatives into the Production environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting high-availability database environments.
- Demonstrate previous experience working within large-scale, complex, and agile IT environments.
- Showcase solid expertise in Oracle and SQL Server database administration.
- Exhibit familiarity with ITIL standards.
- Have experience working within a financial institution or a similar environment.
