- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, bill entry, verification of accuracy, and ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and updated accounting databases.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as preparing inventory adjustments and supporting accounting with financial reports as requested.
- Provide administrative support, including managing office emails and communications, and organizing meetings and appointments.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, inputting and updating information as needed.
- Proven experience in administrative support and accounting, preferably in a remote setting.
- Experience with Accounting software such as Quickbooks, Sage, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, particularly Job Nimbus, and (preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Willingness to work US Central Time zone working hours Monday through Friday.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks for at least 2 years is a must.
