- Deployment of Backup solution and infrastructure in the Noble Offshore and Onshore sites.
- Configuration of the Backup solution.
- Administration and maintenance of the Backup infrastructure across all Noble corporation sites.
- Monitoring the backup jobs and resolution of any found backup issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the backup infrastructure and backup solution.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the backup data for any malicious attempts.
- Apply security patches and updates to ensure system integrity.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.
- Create and maintain documentation for Backup solution and infrastructure system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Keep documentation up to date to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals, including network administrators, security analysts, and application developers.
- Participate in planning and implementing IT projects.
- Plan and execute patch management strategies to keep the Backup infrastructure up-to-date and secure.
- Ensure that Backup solution comply with relevant regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in supporting and managing enterprise server infrastructure
- Proficiency in backup and recovery software and tools, such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage), Hyper-V/VMware/Nutanix Cluster storage, and S2D (Storage Space Direct).
- Familiarity with different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Strong understanding of common networking concepts such as TCP/IP, NAT, and TCP/UDP
- Working knowledge in ITIL or IT Service Management
- Experience in ServiceNow or other ITSM tools is a plus

- Willing to be on shifting schedule, on call support, and holiday support
- Willing to work on a hybrid setup
- Is able and willing to travel outside the country if required
