- Monitor network performance, ensure system availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including those related to VPNs, firewalls, and other security appliances.
- Manage and configure network monitoring tools to preemptively identify and address potential issues.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization environments, and cloud services.
- Implement and manage security solutions, including firewall configurations, VPN setups, and endpoint security with Sentinel One.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for the deployment of new applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain operational, configuration, and other procedural documentation.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to NOC team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and emergency response.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a NOC or systems administrator role with increasing responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS).
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and server infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with firewall management, VPN configurations, and endpoint security solutions like Sentinel One.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with network hardware such as barracuda, Meraki, aruba, unifi, and watchguard.
