    Purpose

    The Projects & Innovation Team Lead is accountable for overall performance of global team of project managers who are responsible for successful implementation of projects globally, ranging from medium to large scale program roll outs and transformation. Reporting to the Operational Manager, the job holder collaborates and coordinates with global project contacts and stakeholders in planning project roadmaps for the overall HR function, and consequently own capacity planning and resource development to achieve the global objectives of HR Projects, bringing in business value for the stakeholders and the organization.

    Your Roles And Responsibilities

    People Management

    • Drives talent management according to Bayer strategy
    • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Project Management Experts/Senior Experts, Automation Experts in providing an effective project delivery of various nature: Project Transition (center to center transition and insourcing transitions), end to end Implementation, Roll Out, Program Management - among others.
    • Coach PM Experts and Senior Experts in Global Design, Plan, Implementation of programs, including process transformation following the FRAME methodology, and other applicable methodology.
    • Coach. Able to capitalize on people, relationships, and trust in order to impart knowledge and sustain a culture of continuous learning.

    Project Management

    • Uphold a Service Delivery structure that enforces seamless Local, Regional, Global Project and Program Delivery.
    • Spearhead Design of end to end Program/Project Roadmaps according to business need and objectives. Drive Roadmap towards success.
    • Steer and oversee achievement of Project and/or Program Goals for the respective Bayer function globally.
    • Responsible for the consistency, quality, and integrity of the process globally, in collaboration with MQA.
    • Proactively identify gaps within organization and take appropriate decisions and action based on global framework; promote performance improvement initiatives based on local needs and global framework
    • Continuously look out for Project Delivery industry trends and apply best practices
    • Manage relationship with internal clients and stakeholders including (but not limited to) Global Process Owners, Functional leadership and HR community to support the implementation of HR solutions reflecting the business needs
    • Establish a work culture within the HR operations that promotes teamwork and sharing within HR operations globally and partnering with stakeholders based on global governance

    Who You Are

    • Proven track record in Project Management – with strong focus leading Global Teams and managing projects at a global scale;
    • Experienced working in a project management environment or have had exposure to formal project management techniques such as PMI or Prince2 certification
    • Proven track record in leading a high-performance team
    • Strong ability to devise and develop high complexity solutions with little oversight
    • Excellent knowledge of industry trends in end to end Project Management
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and are able to leverage those skills across different cultures and functions to help you successfully work in a global and virtual environmen
    • Ability to derive clear solutions/recommendations to complex topics
    • Proficiency in SAP ERP, Jira and other IT applications
    • Fluent in English for direct communication with Global, Regional and Country stakeholders
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Sound knowledge in organizational methods and project management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and schedule adherence

    • Have a solid understanding and real life application of LSS Principles and Methodology; Has experience working with various statistical tools to solve problems, eliminate waste and variation and implement improvements through a structured lean management approach, thereby generating value.
    • Involved in the conceptualization and implementation of process improvement with clear business case and measurable targets.
    • Experienced in leading regional projects following industry standard project methodology.

    Digital Transformation Advocate

    • Experienced in data strategy and governance, has an understanding of digital transformation, business model impact of digital solutions and emerging technologies; Experienced in working with data tools (MS Excel, MS PowerBI etc.)
    • Has a working knowledge of RPA, AI, automation workflow (Snow, Power Automate). Working and building solutions with these tools is a plus.
    • Understands data analytics and its business applications; Fundamental working knowledge on process mining and task mining tools is a plus.
    • Possesses an advance capability to strategically act on data insights, data storytelling and insight creation.
