Position: Business Developer

Department: Business Development

Reports to: Head of Office

Location: On-site, Manila - Philippines

About the job

As a Business Development Officer with our brand, you will play a role in driving regional business growth in the Philippines market by collaborating closely with several departments within the company and establishing strong relationships with affiliates and introducers in the country. Your primary goal will be to generate leads, expand the client base, and contribute to the overall growth and revenue targets of the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

· Responsible for achieving and exceeding company and personal targets;

· Lead by example by possessing full product knowledge and demonstrating excellent sales skills;

· Provide feedback to improve the operation and efficiency of the department;

· Attain full understanding of the company operating systems;

· Follow the company strategy as outlined by management;

· Contribute to a positive and dynamic working environment;

· Identify and research target market, assess market potential, and devise effective strategies to penetrate the market;

· Collaborate with the marketing department to develop targeted marketing campaigns, materials, and promotions tailored to the specific region;

· Act as the primary point of contact for introducers, addressing their inquiries, providing necessary support, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction;

· Conduct market analysis, monitor industry trends, and keep abreast of competitor activities to identify new business opportunities;

· Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build a strong professional network;

· Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to potential affiliates and introducers;

· Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth;

· Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams regarding market trends, client preferences, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

· Strong sales background

· Fluency in English and Tagalog (additional local languages such as Cebuano will be considered an advantage)

· Knowledge in Technical Analysis is preferred.

· Experience in using a client relations management system.

· Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant field

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Forex industry or financial services sector.

· Strong understanding of the Forex market, trading instruments, and the financial services industry.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet business development targets.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.

· Willingness to travel as required to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.

· Existing portfolio of clients is a bonus.
