    This position is responsible for ensuring the timely completion and implementation of Finance projects, preparing for the emerging IFRS requirements, strengthening internal controls, and streamlining of key processes.

    Accountabilities

    Automation/Process Improvements and reengineering

  • Drive and lead the automation of repetitive and manual processes
  • Continuously look for possibilities to streamline work processes through simple automation such as macro, RPA and Sharepoint
  • Coordinate with external and internal team handling the automation
  • Monitor and report the progress of use cases for automation

    • Finance Projects

  • Project Manager of the projects initiated by department or Group
  • Stakeholder management and cost-benefits monitoring
  • Manage the risks associated with

    • deliverables

  • Monitor project progress and ensure

    • deliverability and quality

  • Other related matters that maybe assigned by the Manager from time to time

    • Strengthen internal controls and streamline key and major finance processes

  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement of finance processes and provide recommendation on how to strengthen internal controls and how to employ faster or simpler working methods
  • Identify and share process and data best practices through active internal and external engagements
  • Provide support in the documentation of the policies and procedures

    • Monitor emerging IFRS requirements and develop and execute implementation plans to ensure compliance

  • Assess and document financial reporting and operational requirements of the standard
  • Develop in-depth understanding of IFRS requirements to provide necessary training and support to other finance business units, as required
  • Facilitate meetings and conduct information gathering
  • Track implementation progress

    • System administration and maintenance

  • Adhere with AXA PH data policy
  • Oversee systems enhancement initiatives and ensure timely implementation and effective communication to relevant stakeholders
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and secure issue resolution
  • System issue resolution
  • Drive the updates needed on the system
    • Your Profile
  • Graduate Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Preferably a CPA
  • With 5-10 years audit / management consulting / business transformation experience
  • Preferably has exposure with Life and GI insurance under the same capacity
  • Attention to details and ability to meet deadlines, good analytical mind
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and can work under minimum supervision
  • Able to manage time and prioritize deliverables
  • Key team player
  • Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Very good communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Project Management Skills
  • With Process Improvement Certification (6 Sigma) or background in business transformation projects
