K2 Medical Systems, part of the Harris Maternity family, is seeking a skilled technical
resource to join our busy, growing team. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the quality, customer experience, and ongoing success of our products and solutions. It is ideal to be self- motivated and have a mind towards reusable solutions and tech-forward development.
Primary Functions:
· Report to the Clinical Applications Manager and collaborate with other technical personnel to deliver software solutions.
· Exercise your technical skills to resolve simple and complex problems that are reported outside of
Australian business hours. This includes making configuration changes to the product where required.
· Be trusted to troubleshoot, debug, and rectify defects in a mission-critical application.
· Be empowered to propose solutions to functional requirements to deliver a wide variety of product enhancements.
· Analyse existing configurations to maintain consistency in the application and identify dependencies to minimise functional regression.
· Apply and build on your knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
· Play a pivotal role in prototyping and co-designing with end-users.
· Review the work of your peers and provide feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications:
The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background.
They are split into Minimum Qualifications (must have) and Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
along with soft skills (competencies) needed for the role:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems or related discipline.
· .NET Framework C# and SQL Server programming, troubleshooting, and testing skills, 1-3 years commercial experience · Strong data modelling and relational database design skills (SQL Server) · Demonstrated ability to reverse engineer existing logic · Experience working within support teams to help drive the best customer experience possible · Systems integration experience
Additional Qualifications:
· Any healthcare experience would be highly regarded
· AAPC CPC certification prefer
· Familiarity with clinical software, quality methodologies (waterfall and agile), and project management is an advantage
