Job Description:
A. Pastry Production & Quality Control
- Assists in planning, preparing, and executing all pastry, bakery, and dessert items according to menu requirements and seasonal offerings.
- Ensures consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry products.
- Supervises production schedules to meet operational needs for outlets and special events.
- Monitors portioning and waste control to optimize food cost.
- Conducts regular quality checks on ingredients, finished goods, and display items.
B. Menu Development & Innovation
- Assists the Executive Pastry Chef in developing new menu concepts, recipes, and seasonal offerings.
- Tests and documents recipes, ensuring standardization across all outlets.
- Recommends improvements or cost-effective alternatives for ingredients without compromising quality.
- Stays updated on pastry trends and applies innovative techniques to maintain competitiveness.
C. Cost Control & Inventory Management
- Assists in monitoring food cost, waste management, and yield optimization.
- Participates in weekly inventory checks and requisitioning of supplies.
- Ensures accurate portioning and adherence to recipe costing.
- Coordinates with purchasing for ingredient availability and quality.
D. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinates with other teams to ensure consistency and smooth launches.
- Communicates effectively with the Executive Pastry Chef regarding production needs, challenges, and feedback.
- Supports special events, functions, and promotional activities requiring pastry production.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
