    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner with a strong focus on customer and business engagement to join our team.

    As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering innovative banking applications.

    Your deep understanding of how to obtain and crystallise customer needs, business requirements, and experience in building banking applications will be instrumental in driving the success of our product portfolio.

    Responsibilities:

    Product Strategy and Vision:
    Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and customer needs. Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities and enhance existing products.

    Customer and Business Engagement:
    Act as the primary liaison between the development team, stakeholders, and customers. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable product features. Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions to continuously improve the product.

    Agile Product Ownership:
    Serve as the voice of the customer and the business, prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality product increments.

    Embrace agile principles and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive iterative and incremental product development.

    Product Roadmap and Release Planning:
    Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap, release plans, and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to align on priorities, manage expectations, and ensure the successful delivery of product releases. Continuously refine and adjust the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market dynamics, and business goals.

    Product Documentation and Communication:
    Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications. Effectively communicate product updates, milestones, and releases to stakeholders, customers, and the broader organization. Conduct product demonstrations and workshops to showcase new features and gather feedback.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Foster a collaborative and innovative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with designers to ensure a user-centric approach and seamless user experiences. Engage with developers and testers to clarify requirements, provide guidance, and address technical challenges.

    Product Performance and Analytics:
    Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against set targets. Utilize analytics tools and user feedback to monitor product usage, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Continuously iterate and optimize the product based on insights gathered.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 8 years of product ownership or management experience, with a focus on building banking applications. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and driving product innovation.

    Banking Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of the banking industry, including banking products, processes, regulations, and customer expectations. Familiarity with digital banking platforms and prior experience in developing banking applications is highly desirable.

    Customer Focus:
    Demonstrated experience in engaging with customers, gathering requirements, and translating them into product features. Strong empathy for customer needs and a customer-centric mindset.

    Business Acumen:
    Solid business understanding and ability to align product strategies with business goals. Experience in analyzing market trends, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying new business opportunities.

    Agile Mindset:
    Proficiency in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Experience working in an agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality product increments.

    Communication and Collaboration:
    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business users, designers, developers, and testers.

    Analytical Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven product decisions.

    Proficiency in using analytics tools and frameworks.

    Leadership:
    Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Experience in mentoring and coaching junior product owners or team members is a plus.
