    Company Description

    Incorporated on February 15, 2017, Common Ground Land and Leisure Inc.'s core businesses are in property development and resorts. It is the corporation behind Gunita Villas and Pavilion – an exclusive events place in Santo Tomas, Batangas. Currently being developed in over 2.5 hectares of land, it now offers boutique accommodation through its 'weekend home' concept. It also offers suites for smaller families and an indoor function hall with 200-person capacity.

    Role Description

    A Front Office Associate is responsible for checking guests in and out of their rooms. They ensure that every single guest has an enjoyable experience at the resort. A few of their main duties are greeting guests at the front desk, answering any questions, recommending activities and restaurants to guests, and answering phone calls. A successful Front Office Associate has keen attention to detail, communication abilities, basic IT skills and a courteous attitude. One of the job titles that a Front Office Associate could grow into is the Resort Manager post.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operates the property's online reservation system
    • Facilitates guest check-in/out
    • Takes reservations and endorsing them to Sales Team as necessary
    • Responds to guest requests and inquiries
    • Coordinates with Sales, Housekeeping, and Lihim Café throughout the guest cycle
    • Helps to plan lodging requirements via the occupancy report and resort coordination form
    • Creates the team schedule weekly
    • Handles and closes guest folio together with Sales
    • Creates occupancy report
    • Makes recommendations for activities and restaurants

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Tourism or Hotel and Resort Management
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Tagalog)
    • Multi-tasking
    • Time management and problem-solving skills
    • Experience in hotel/resort environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Attention to detail
    • Desire to be proactive and to create a positive experience for others
    • A team player
