    The UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP SYSTEM DALTA is dedicated to the development of the Filipino as a leader. It aims to graduate dynamic students who are physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually committed to the achievement of the highest quality of life.

    As a system of Service in health and in education, it is dedicated to the formation of Christ-centered, service-oriented and research-driven individuals with great social concern and commitment to the delivery of quality education and health care.

    It shall produce Perpetualites as 'Helpers of God' – a vital ingredient to nation building.

    The Role

    BASIC FUNCTION

    The Accounting Manager is task to supervise, monitor and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities. The Accounting Manager is also responsible in establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Plan, implement, overall accounting strategy
    • Oversees accounting daily operations
    • Takes responsibility for accounts payables/receivables, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue, and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets, reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
    • Monitors and analyses accounting data.
    • Setup and monitor accounting KPIs.
    • Regularly produce financial reports or statements.
    • Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
    • Encourage other employees to adhere to standards.
    • Performs and oversee annual audits.
    • Meet financial accounting objectives.
    • Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders.
    • Performs other related duties assigned by the superiors.

    Ideal Profile

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of Accounting or Finance
    • CPA
    • At least 3-5 years of experience
    • Excellent computer skills on MS Office
    • Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and database
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Good understanding and knowledge with accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
    • Critical-thinker and problem-solver skills
    • Will work 48 hours a week
