    As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will spearhead a venture focused on decentralized energy including but not limited to distributed energy resources (DER), electric mobility, microgrid, or energy internet of things (IoT) services within the ASEAN region. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a pioneering startup shaping the future of sustainable energy. The mission will be to lead the venture to scale, ensuring the venture is economically viable, and equipped with brilliant talent, and to provide a seamless, enjoyable experience for customers

    Responsibility:

    Strategy and Execution

    • Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the company's growth and market penetration
    • Drive day-to-day activities, ensuring all teams are working together effectively
    • Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets, from launch to scale
    • Identify and articulate product roadmap, while strategically targeting whitespace opportunities
    • Lead company operations, financial and organizational management, and overall growth strategy and milestones (e.g. product launch, customer acquisition, and revenue)
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to identify and mitigate risks to the business, including legal, financial, and operational risks
    • Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity

    Sales and Business Development

    • Lead the sales and business development efforts, working with the team to identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the companyâs customer base and revenue streams
    • Explore and implement scalable business models
    • Champion a customer-centric approach across the organization, prioritizing customer satisfaction, feedback, and retention
    • Build strong relationships with customers and gather insights to enhance products and services
    • Develop deep relationships with C-suite executives, key customers, strategic partners, and external stakeholders (e.g. policymakers, investors, experts)
    • Leverage competitive advantage to negotiate complex commercial contracts and close deals
    • Act as the primary spokesperson, representing the company to investors, stakeholders, and the public

    Commercials and Investor Relations

    • Lead go-to-market and monetization strategy to scale business in the Philippines and beyond
    • Own P&L and cash flow, overseeing financial health and managing budgets
    • Drive fundraising efforts to ensure the financial viability of the venture in the long term
    • Build and nurture relationships with investors, to secure funding for future growth
    • Work closely with the board of directors, providing regular updates on company performance, seeking guidance and approval for strategic decisions, and fostering a collaborative relationship

    Team Building and Management

    • Build and lead a high-performing team, cultivating an environment and culture that encourages excellence, creativity and teamwork
    • Hire world-class talent and grow teams from scratch, including hiring of key positions
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship, training, and career development opportunities to help employees grow and thrive

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus but not required)
    • 15+ yearsâ total experience building, launching, and scaling products into fast-growing businesses and/or 2+ yearsâ experience building 0-1 products at early-stage startups or of new and unproven businesses within large corporates and tech companies
    • Willing to commit to an initial full-time, contract-based position
